Character Background and Description Claus was taken in by the lake tribe’s leader when he was twelve, and was quickly introduced to the tribes religion, which he to immediately. In a few years, Claus began to actively participate in the tries rituals, in particular he has taken to the worship of Lucky, and all the rituals associated with it.
Claus is small for his age; his hair is largely unkempt and he is noticeably scrawny. He usually dresses in imitation of his adopted father, with slacks and a button-down shirt, though his are handed down and are patched from years of use.
Claus is usually friendly and sociable, and is good at empathizing with the other members of his tribe, leading to him being well liked within the tribe. However, he shows very little regard for people outside his tribe, and in particular has a grudge against the military tribe, as he doesn’t believe they are necessary at all, and that tries should all loo after themselves. The only other tribe he tolerates is the fertility tribe, and even then he thinks the tribe should join with the lake tribe, seeing no reason for them to stay on their own away from all the infertile tribes.
Claus doesn’t have many possessions, aside from his clothes, a few religious items, and board games he has collected. He mostly spends his free time in his father’s library or playing his games with other children of the tribe. He has a tendency to use other people’s belongings as if they were his own, but also is quick to loan out his items to anyone who asks for them.
